Established in 2020, the Zoetis Foundation is a private charitable foundation exclusively funded by Zoetis that promotes opportunities for veterinarians and farmers worldwide.

Building on Zoetis' purpose of nurturing our world and humanity through advancing animal care, Zoetis Inc. (“Zoetis”) has committed an initial $35 million over five years to the Zoetis Foundation to support the Foundation's three giving priorities – education, welfare and livelihood.

In each of these areas of focus, diversity, equity and inclusion remain a top priority in the types of partnerships the Foundation engages with – enabling thriving and inclusive professions for veterinarians, veterinary technicians and farmers around the world.

Initially, the Zoetis Foundation directed investments towards scholarships and diversity initiatives to help drive an even more inclusive veterinary community in the US.

Beginning in 2022, the Foundation's work will expand to support professional market development for veterinary medicine; diversity, inclusion and mental wellness programs for farmers and veterinarians in the U.S., as well as supporting the livelihoods of producers and veterinarians. in Africa, Australia, Brazil, China and Europe.

Subsistence

Healthy livestock is critical to achieving food security, particularly in regions with exceptionally high incidences of livestock and human disease. To ensure that growing food and nutrient needs are met, livestock productivity must be improved.

The Zoetis Foundation funds capacity building initiatives and business planning programs that help veterinary practices and farmers develop sustainable businesses, protect family legacy and thrive in an increasingly dynamic industry.
